2021 Qualifiers
We have made a significant change to how you qualify to participate in the Last Woman Standing (LWS) this season.
Rather than a single qualification round, qualification happens throughout the season, during INDIVIDUAL Play Day events. There are currently nine qualification play days and each is noted in your Play Day booklet.
- Big Canoe Cup points WON on these Play Days go toward your LWS Qualification; AND
- Your BEST FIVE out of NINE winning Play Day points count!
Top TEN qualifiers compete in the Last Woman Standing. In the event of a tie, both players will participate and two players will be eliminated on the first hole. In the event of a three-way tie, two players will be eliminated on each of the first hole two holes.
LWS is scheduled for Wednesday, September 1st. For those unfamiliar with the format, all who qualify will begin the 9-hole round on the same hole, playing the hole until everyone finishes. The individual with the highest net score is eliminated and the remaining players proceed to play the next hole. In the event of a tie, a chip off is held to determine who is eliminated. Play follows this format to the 9th hole, when the last two qualifiers left will play to see who is The Last Woman Standing! It’s great fun and really puts your mental game to the test!!
